Stress can cause chickens to lay eggs with strange pigmentation.

 Oddly Pigmented Eggs

Half colored, spots without pigment or even purple, pink or pale colors are most likely caused by high stress such as heat, predator scares or overcrowding. But don’t rule out excess calcium in their diet, an older hen anomaly, or a possible disease indicator. 

Can stress make them lay the wrong color egg?

Ans. Fancy, my Wyandotte is not happy about the addition of the cage of teenage chicks to the chicken run. She is spending a large portion of her days making alarm sounds similar to the sounds she makes when the neighbor's cat is prowling nearby. She normally lays tan eggs but yesterday's egg was white. Could the stress from the chicks have caused her to lay a white egg? The egg she laid this morning was normal. What else could have caused a white egg? Is there anything I should be watching out for?

Ans . Another hen laying perhaps? Egg color is very consistent. It can fade slowly throughout the years cycle but wont have drastic changes. 

Ans. It could be the new chickens laying! How old are they?

If they are anywhere from 16-25 weeks it's probably them laying them.

It was 50 years ago, on April 20, 1964, and during the subsequent months of the  World's Fair at Flushing Meadow Park  across from the brand-spanking-new Shea Stadium in Queens, New York, that Mr. and Mrs. America got their first chance to make a video telephone call on Bell's Mod I (Model I)  Picturephone . This Giant Australian Cow Is So Big It Can’t Be Slaughtered or Sold

  As you can see, this bovine behemoth tends to stick out from the herd. That’s why he’s still alive  A giant cow – ok, let’s call it a steer – called “Knickers” has become a bit of a sensation in Australia. It’s so large it couldn’t be sent to an abattoir. Knickers is thought to be the biggest steer ever in Australia. He weighs an impressive 1,400 kilograms (3,100 pounds) and stands 1.94 meters (6.4 feet) tall. Wow. Farmer Geoff Pearson, who owns land near Perth in Western Australia, said that when he tried to put the steer up for auction, no one was able to cope with its size. Luckily for him. “It was too heavy. I wouldn’t be able to put it through a processing facility,” he told Perth Now. “So I think it will just live happily ever after.”  Knickers was originally bought as a “coach”, a castrated male cattle that leads the herd.
